Kanye West's latest new music video has caught some attention recently for its morbid feel. Kanye's music videos have strictly been creative and unique; this video falls under that category but has a much darker feel then anything that we have seen out of him so far. Rita G is the girl in this new music video. I read an interview with her and she said that this video has a deeper meaning to it. From what I can see there is not much depth to the video.
The girl burns her clothes after parking in the middle of the Nevada desert, struts back to the Mustang, and opens the trunk to a formal dressed bound up Kanye West. She then says her goodbyes by rubbing his face and proceeds to smash him with the head of a shovel. In just as quick of a fashion, the screen goes black and "Flashing Lights" appears. Music videos often carry underlying messages and Kanye is saying that his old self is dead. But what do I know.
