Cat Stevens was very famous in the 1970s. Both of my parents like him, which is why I grew up listening to his music. I've always found the lyrics to his songs poignant. Stevens disappeared from the music scene for a long time after he embraced Islam. However, in 1995 he reappeared with the new name Yusuf Islam and released an album called The Life of the Last Prophet.
I found this anime music video on YouTube. It is for the song How Can I Tell You, which is from the 2001 Cat Stevens Box Set. I cannot say I'm a fan of the anime music video. For some reason I have difficulty relating to them. Furthermore, I'm not sure how well this anime music video fits the lyrics of the Cat Stevens song. The beginning of this anime music video shows a boy and a girl. The girl is crying, and so the boy endeavors to comfort her. This is the only part that seems to fit the lyrics of the song. The rest appears to be a series of random images. In the middle of this anime music video, one man washes the feet of another. This is a clear reference to Christianity, which is somewhat bizarre given that Cat Stevens is a Muslim.
